stick bug (Anisomorpha buprestoides) This stick bug, or walking stick, has a lot of names online, including southern two-striped walkingstick, devil rider, and musk mare. I haven't experienced it, but I guess if you bug it it will spray a nasty stench. Wiki says it comes in three colors; white, brown, and orange. The spray stench is cyclopentanyl monoterpene dialdehyde compound which they called "anisomorphal". I've tried a lot of times to take a decent shot of these, hundredth pic is the winner I guess.
