Beauregard Museum in DeRidder, Louisiana is a living history museum that celebrates the region’s rich culture and heritage. Established in 1977, the museum was named after confederate General Pierre Gustave Toutant Beauregard, who was born in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana in 1818. The museum houses a variety of artifacts, photographs and documents that tell the story of the people who have lived and worked in the region.

The museum’s collection includes a variety of artifacts and photographs that span the Civil War era, including the uniforms of Confederate soldiers and a variety of weapons used during the war. There are also a variety of artifacts from the Reconstruction period, including tools, furniture and clothing from the period.
