DUNN HOUSE

Dunn House is a historic plantation house located in Greenwood, Louisiana. It was built in 1858 by John B. Dunn, a prominent planter and politician. The house is a two-story Greek Revival style mansion with four large columns on its facade. The exterior of the house is made of red brick and it has a hipped roof with a cupola. The interior of the house has high ceilings, hardwood floors, and elaborate moldings.
The house was used as a hospital during the Civil War and was later occupied by Union troops. It was restored in the early 20th century and has been well-preserved since then. The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a popular tourist attraction.
The grounds of Dunn House include several outbuildings, including a kitchen, a smokehouse, and a carriage house. There is also a large garden with a gazebo and a pond.
