I took this image of newly fallen snow at dusk around the parish, knowing that I would insert the moon in post-edit. It was how I saw the scene in my mind's eye. Firstly, I needed the technical practice of layering in a moon. Secondly, I would not have to wait a few decades for the exact right conditions. Ah, technology! The temperature was frigid enough to spark me to hurry. I will try a darker scene on a warmer night.]
