The little white seal was a gift from a park ranger, the teddy bear was a gift from a friend, one fridge magnet was my Mom's (Max), one was a gift from a friend (Coho) and the cat's pajamas were a gift from my deceased 2nd husband's sister. Cat Fish TV Now this little aquarium was Raylan's. He had a very complex mind however in his last years simply enjoyed laying in front of this aquarium watching fish go by. It is electric but used minimal power. It had a nice sound to it and did emit heat which Raylan also enjoyed at times.

Ocelot Remover Now we have the task to decide how to (or if) we will disperse decades worth of pet toys. The grieving process is a slow one. This little bank was cute. One of the cats (Raylan) had learned to tap the nickel placed on top, the little white cat could reach out to grab it which would then go into the bank. Carly just watched him do it.
Same Wonderful Golfer Different Shoes Adjusting to life without a pet. Some days it's easier and some days it's difficult. We have a slew of cat paraphernalia gathered up and it's a bit difficult to move past it. For now, a ceramic tabby is filling in.

Banking on Rocks This local bank had the idea to protect itself by removing the flowers and bushes and placing rocks, possibly to shield it's front from "drive-thru" customers. Cost saving on landscaping. I love the design change...it's original. I'm sure each rock has a history and story, even perhaps a name and type. One rock appears to be mooning passers-by. I didn't take it personally. On this date in time this rock grouping is one short of a dozen. Perhaps they represent board members or customers who count. I know I do.
Sinh Update 2024 Saw Sinh yesterday and he looked fantastic. He is very busy yet gladly took a moment to say hello - he liked my phone today. Sinh has a lot of lucky cats - see the one on the top shelf behind him? He's 47 now.

Urns for Pets My Son (in Guam) said he didn't realize this was a "thing" here in my neck of the woods. It is. We can't bury pets here as I live in a condo. It's not "legal". They have to go somewhere when they "cross the rainbow bridge". We bury them with honor, if one has the land to do so. Carly's ashes will be ready in a few days. This is at the Borden Pet Crematory & Memorial Center. If the ashes are not picked up, Bordens also has a sunflower field as their final resting place, they said.
