Rokeby Hall, Mill Street, Lexington, KY Built in 1812 by Samuel C. Long for Samuel Trotter as the rear ell of Rokeby Hall, a mansion, this structure was later modified with Italianate and Renaissance Revival trim elements in the late 19th Century.  The house features a painted brick exterior, a rough-hewn stone base, a gabled roof, a two-story bay window on the side facade, a Renaissance-style front gable parapet with an arched attic window, bracketed eaves, and two-over-two and one-over-one double-hung windows with decorative hoods.  The house is a contributing structure in the South Hill Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
