The Arkansas Reenactor Educational Association Area Inc. (AREEA) in Bentonville, AR is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the education and appreciation of historical reenactment. Established in 2001, AREEA has grown to become one of the largest historical reenactment organizations in the state. AREEA provides educational programs and activities for its members, ranging from lectures and seminars to battle reenactments, museum visits, and more. It is open to anyone interested in learning about and participating in 18th and 19th century history, from individuals to families.

AREEA also offers a variety of services to its members, such as period costume rentals, armory rentals, and a reference library. Its events are open to the public, and it offers a variety of activities for all ages. These activities are often held at local museums and historical sites, and they include living history presentations, lectures, and demonstrations.

AREEA is committed to preserving and sharing the history of the Civil War in Arkansas, and its members have taken part in numerous battle reenactments and other events throughout the state. It is also actively involved in the preservation of Arkansas’s Civil War sites. AREEA works closely with local and state government entities to ensure the preservation of these sites, and it also participates in educational outreach programs aimed at educating the public about the history of Arkansas.
