The Trimble County Historical Society Inc. is located in Louisville, Kentucky. It is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to preserving and researching the history of Trimble County and its surrounding areas, including the adjacent counties of Henry and Oldham. The Society was founded in 1971 and has grown steadily since then.

Banking on Rocks This local bank had the idea to protect itself by removing the flowers and bushes and placing rocks, possibly to shield it's front from &quot;drive-thru&quot; customers.

Cost saving on landscaping. I love the design change...it's original.

I'm sure each rock has a history and story, even perhaps a name and type. One rock appears to be mooning passers-by. I didn't take it personally. On this date in time this rock grouping is one short of a dozen.

Perhaps they represent board members or customers who count. I know I do.

Sinh Update 2024 Saw Sinh yesterday and he looked fantastic. He is very busy yet gladly took a moment to say hello - he liked my phone today.

How Much Is That Kitten In The Window This beautiful tuxedo cat was spotted yesterday in the window of the Animal Care Society. They do steal hearts!

She is the mirror image of our (RIP) cat, Raylan - aka Ben, who was also adopted here.

Right Path While taking a small 2 mile hike around this lake yesterday, David and I encountered many wonderful, interesting people.

On the top of this dam we had the privilege of meeting a gentleman who had traveled on the USS Ticonderoga to her final destination.

He was originally from Jamaica and explained how he wound up joining the Navy at 14.

We were honored to have met him. He had a great handshake!
