They have to go somewhere when they "cross the rainbow bridge". We bury them with honor, if one has the land to do so. Carly's ashes will be ready in a few days. This is at the Borden Pet Crematory & Memorial Center. If the ashes are not picked up, Bordens also has a sunflower field as their final resting place, they said. Right Path While taking a small 2 mile hike around this lake yesterday, David and I encountered many wonderful, interesting people. On the top of this dam we had the privilege of meeting a gentleman who had traveled on the USS Ticonderoga to her final destination. He was originally from Jamaica and explained how he wound up joining the Navy at 14. We were honored to have met him. He had a great handshake!
