The Historic Downtown Anniston Business Association (HDBA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the revitalization and promotion of the downtown area of Anniston, Alabama. Founded in 1993, the HDBA is committed to the preservation and protection of downtown Anniston's historic architecture and buildings. The HDBA works to bring together business owners and residents to collaborate on projects and initiatives to improve downtown Anniston.

The HDBA is also responsible for organizing community events and programs to engage the community in activities and businesses in downtown Anniston. This includes the Downtown Street Festival, which is held each summer to celebrate the diversity of downtown Anniston. The HDBA also hosts a wide range of holiday and seasonal events such as the Christmas Parade, Easter Egg Hunt and the Halloween Bash.

The HDBA also works to promote downtown businesses and attract new businesses to the area. This includes working with small businesses to provide resources and support for start-ups and helping new businesses to find the perfect location.

The HDBA is an active member in the Anniston community and is dedicated to the continued revitalization and promotion of downtown Anniston. By providing resources and support, organizing events and programs, and working to attract new businesses, the HDBA is an important part of the Anniston community.

Calhoun County Courthouse - Anniston Alabama - Historic Building The Calhoun County Courthouse is a historic county courthouse in Anniston, Alabama. It was designed by Atlanta architect J. W. Golucke and built in 1900, when the county seat of Calhoun County was moved from Jacksonville. It is one of the earliest Neoclassical courthouses in Alabama.[2] An annex with a jail was added on the north side of the building in 1924. The courthouse was rebuilt after a 1931 fire, albeit with a slightly different clock tower.[3] A southeastern annex was built in 1963. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
