The Vest-Lindsey House is located in Frankfort, Kentucky and is a historic home that dates back to the nineteenth century. The house sits on a large lot, surrounded by a white picket fence, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The house was built in 1869 by John Vest, a local businessman and politician, who served as the Speaker of the Kentucky House of Representatives from 1871 to 1872. The house is a two-story, frame-style building, with a central hall plan and four rooms on each floor. The home features a variety of design elements, including a front porch, a bay window, and dentil molding.

The interior of the house is decorated in the style of the period, with many original pieces of furniture, including a marble-top table, a china closet, and a walnut Victorian sofa. The walls are decorated with a variety of paintings and prints, and the flooring is a combination of carpet and hardwood.

The Vest-Lindsey House is open to the public for tours and educational programs. It is also used as a venue for weddings, receptions, and other events. The house is owned and operated by the Kentucky Historical Society and is open to visitors Tuesday through Saturday.

All Roman emperors loved to announce their love of justice to Roman citizens. Rome considered itself the apex of civilization, a society that dispensed just law and order. Justitia epitomized clearheaded thinking and fairness of the state in matters of legal judgment.
