The Newtown-Avoca Historical Society (NAHS) is a non-profit organization located in Avoca, Iowa. The society was formed in 1974 by a group of local citizens who were interested in preserving the history of the area. The NAHS works to educate the public about the history of the area and to preserve it for future generations.
