Central College is a private, four-year liberal arts college located in Pella, Iowa. Established in 1853, Central is the oldest college in the state. The college is affiliated with the Reformed Church in America, and the campus is situated on a 60-acre site in the middle of the city.

The student body at Central consists of nearly 1,400 full-time enrolled students; the majority of students come from Iowa, but the college also enrolls students from across the country and from around the world. Central offers more than 50 majors and minors, as well as student-designed majors, and the college emphasizes experiential learning and hands-on work in the classroom.

Central College's beautiful campus is made up of more than 30 buildings, including classrooms, residence halls, a library, and a performing arts center. For students looking for a place to relax in the city, Central also has a lake, a nature trail, and a nature preserve.
