The Fremont Historical Society is a non-profit organization based in Sidney, Iowa. Its mission is to preserve and promote the history of the Fremont area, which includes the towns of Farragut, Hamburg, Randolph, Riverton, and Sidney, as well as the surrounding rural communities.

The Society maintains a museum in the old Sidney High School building, which was constructed in 1919. The museum features exhibits on local history, including displays on Native American artifacts, pioneer life, agriculture, and industry. The Society also maintains a research library with books, documents, and photographs related to Fremont history.

The Fremont Historical Society hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including an annual ice cream social, a Christmas open house, and special exhibits and programs.
