Mamie Eisenhower Birthplace is located in Boone, Iowa. It is a two-story frame house built in 1884 by David and Ida Doud, Mamie Eisenhower's parents. The house is located just a few blocks from the Boone County Courthouse and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The house is a two-story frame structure with clapboard siding and a gable roof. It has a total of eight rooms, including four bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining room, a parlor, and a bathroom. The house features a wraparound front porch, a side entrance, and a single-story addition that was added in the 1930s.

Inside the house, visitors will find many original furnishings, including pieces from the Doud family, as well as articles related to Mamie Eisenhower, including a portrait of her. The interior walls are painted in the original colors of the late 19th century, and there are also collections of memorabilia related to Mamie and Dwight Eisenhower.

The Mamie Eisenhower Birthplace is a popular tourist destination and is open to the public. Visitors can take self-guided tours of the house, as well as view the grounds, which feature a variety of flowerbeds and gardens, as well as a small pond. The site also hosts a variety of special events throughout the year, including a celebration of Mamie's birthday every year in November.
