The Fountain County Genealogy Society (FCGS) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and encourage genealogical research. FCGS was founded in Veedersburg, Indiana in 1972 and has been serving the genealogical needs of Fountain County and surrounding areas ever since.
FCGS is dedicated to helping members of the local community discover, preserve, and share their family histories. The society offers a variety of resources and services to its members, including a library of genealogical records, a variety of publications, and an online database. The library includes records on local cemeteries, vital records, court records, and military records.
