The Tucson Mormon Battalion Monument Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the history and memory of the Mormon Battalion. The Mormon Battalion was a group of 500 men, women and children who traveled from the Midwest to California in 1846-47 with the United States Army during the Mexican-American War.
