The foundation works with local, state and federal agencies, as well as private organizations to promote awareness of the Battalion and its achievements.

The foundation operates a museum and visitors center located in downtown Tucson. The museum features displays and interactive exhibits about the Battalion's journey, its members, and its place in American history. The center also houses a library of resources about the Battalion, including books, videos, and photographs.
