The Alabama Asian Cultures Foundation (AACF) is an organization dedicated to promoting understanding of Asian cultures and connecting Asian communities in Birmingham and throughout Alabama. Founded in 2002, AACF has become a vital resource for Asian-Americans in the state and beyond.

AACF’s mission is to foster understanding of Asian culture and identity by providing resources, education and outreach programs. The organization’s activities include hosting community events and workshops, awarding scholarships to students of Asian descent, providing cultural and language classes, and supporting Asian-American businesses. AACF also works to promote the visibility of Asian culture in Birmingham, including through its annual Asian Cultural Festival.

AACF’s Board of Directors is composed of Asian-American leaders from various backgrounds, including business, education, and government. The organization is funded through donations, grants, and corporate sponsorships.

The organization’s vision is to create a vibrant and dynamic Asian-American community in Birmingham and throughout Alabama. AACF hopes to empower Asian-Americans and provide them with the resources and opportunities they need to succeed and thrive.
