The Grissom Air Museum is located in Peru, Indiana, just north of the city of Kokomo. The museum is named after Virgil I. Grissom, a local native and a member of the United States Air Force. The Grissom Air Museum is dedicated to preserving and honoring the memory of Grissom and the other heroes of the USAF who served in the air and on the ground during times of war and peace.
