The LaPorte County Historical Society (LCHS) is an organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of LaPorte County, Indiana. Established in 1904, the organization offers a variety of resources for those interested in local history. The Society's museum, housed in a historic building on the grounds of the former LaPorte County Courthouse, features artifacts, documents, photographs, and other materials related to LaPorte County's past.
